In Paul Rudnick’s hilarious dramatic comedy, when television star Andrew Rally moves back to New York and finds himself cast as Hamlet, nothing seems right. With lucrative offers of shallow television shows, self doubt, fear of the greatest of roles, and a girlfriend who won’t have sex with him, it takes the supernatural intervention of the ghost of Andrew’s apartment’s former resident–the legendary John Barrymore–to help Andrew confront the challenges of life on stage (and in the bedroom).
